Sizing agents and additives

Definition: The warp of textile fibres and filament yarns should depending on the quality have to be prepared with a sizing agent. Machines that weave at ever higher speeds require very strong yarn in order to be able to produce perfect fabrics. In the most cases they are washed out of the grey fabric, therefore the sizings should be easily washable. For the different areas we have the optimized products. P.e.
I. For texturized polyester filament yarns:

II. For all staple fibre yarns:

° ALBOCELL 6000-Reihe
° ALBOCELL (CMC)
°ALBOPOL (PVA)

In addition to hot-sizing it is also possible to make cold-sizing for different staple fibre yarns. The cold-sizing is prepared on the warping machine between sectional warping cylinder and beaming machine with a preparation roller. With this process the investment and operating costs are much lower compared to conventional hot-sizing.
